I have always loved to read and enjoy a good story. A good book can take you places without your leaving home. As a grandson once told his grandmother when she said it was time to turn out the lights and sleep," But grandma it's daylight where I am." You see anyone can get lost in the moment and place they are reading about.
As years past and I read more and more I always wondered about the towns, cities, places I was reading about. I had read about New Orleans and the french quarter, Bar Harbor in Maine, Savannah Georgia, and many more places. One day I decided I wanted to see some of the places I had read about.
On this blog I hope to share with you some of the places and cities I have read about and which books they are featured it. I also hope you will share your adventures in books and the places you have been. Post the books you are reading or have read and any photos or observations you had about the places. There might even be some post about the food and recipes found in books.
